Description of Services
The Building Commissioner/ Zoning Enforcement Officer enforces the state builidng codes as well as local zoning bylaws and Architectural Access Board Regulations. This department issues Building Permits, inspects constructions sites, conducts periodic safety inspections of multi-family dwellings, restaurants, schools, religious institutions and other places of assembly.
