Obtaining Refund of WiredWest $49 Deposit
For West Stockbridge, our fate is changing with the Charter Communications acquisition of Time-Warner Cable. The FCC approved the merger which is expected to close on May 18. Many trucks have been seen around town installing power boxes on telephone poles and stringing new cables. We expect Charter to present a proposal to the town on their plan to upgrade their system to full HDTV with digital phone and internet services in June. With Charter upgrading their system to include high speed internet, our town switches categories with MBI to a “potential cable expansion” town.
