The Planning Board urges anyone who makes an application for a special permit to read the zoning carefully. In making the application it is necessary for the applicant to specify which part of the zoning he or she is applying under. Also, the zoning requires that any Special Permit application be accompanied by a site plan. In simple cases the site plan can often be in sketch form.
If anyone has a question about a special permit, they can come in to see the Board before an application is submitted. You may also contact the Zoning Enforcement Officer, who has the statutory authority to make interpretations of the zoning.
