Special Permit Guidelines

The Planning Board urges anyone who is submitting an application for a Special Permit to read the “Planning Board Special Permit Guidelines”.  Please click on the attached pdf below.  Hardcopies are also available at the Town Clerk’s office.

More detailed information about Special Permits can be found in the Zoning Bylaws which are also available under the “Town Code Bylaws” tab on the Planning Board homepage.

If anyone has a question about a special permit, they can contact the Planning Board before an application is submitted. They may also contact the Zoning Enforcement Officer, who has the statutory authority to make interpretations of the zoning.
